It is safe to say, the Reds and Pirates do not like each other.
There has been no question to the fact that there is something brewing between these two teams. There have been numerous players getting beaned by pitches. I believe there have been 9x where a Reds player has been hit by a Pirates pitcher this season and 6x Pirates being hit by a Reds pitcher.
It continued last night with Shin Soo Choo getting plunked on the very first pitch in the bottom of the first.
I would expect that if this continues, the benches will be clearing soon.

Yeah, we may see some Johnny Cueto ninja kicks pretty soon. The Pirates need to learn, they need to have a winning season before they get a seat at the big boy table.

Oh ya. The Pirates definitely need to learn. I think this Reds team will be the ones to show them

Getting shutout isn't a good start. Arroyo needs to plunk someone in the top of the first. Given his days with the Red Sox... You know he isn't afraid of confrontation...

I can definitely see it all going down tomorrow. It just needs to happen to just to get the anger and frustration out. Hell, it could really help propel this Reds team to the top, just like in 2010

We got quite a few games left with the Pirates... Idk about tomorrow but at some point this year... Shit will be in the fan. I thought Latos last night would really stir the pot.

I really did expect Latos to start firing at some of the Pirates...he got up on the top step when Choo was plunked and started yelling...I figured he would have unleashed it on the field but it never happened.

I kinda wonder if he was warned by the umpires prior... He definitely doesn't mind lobbing in brush back pitches.

Doubt it. Otherwise they would have tossed the Pit pitcher and manager after Choo was hit in the first

Maybe when he got to the top of the stairs or when he was walking out in the first...?
