You may want to look at the MLB standings twice. The Toronto Blue Jays are making a run! My pick to win the AL East has won 8 straight and is only 1.5 games back of the Rays for 4th place. The Jays are only 7.5 back of Boston.
This team has been plagued with injuries and bad play. They seem to finally be getting things together!
Where will this very talented team end up at the end of the season?

I will take them to finish second in the division but making a play-in spot. This team has all the pieces to make a run... just a slllllow start.

That is very true...that was my point all along...ON PAPER, this team was the best team in the AL. I wasnt the only one who said that either. Numerous baseball pundits picked the Jays. This just shows that championships aren't won on paper. This year, it definitely hasn't translated to the field. Now, they have picked it up and are playing much better baseball.

This team is on fire...later this week, they're set to get Jose Reyes back. This team is set to get stronger. As of right now, the Jays have been able to do something the Marlins couldn't last year, that is win, when expectations are high...

I almost forgot he was on the team. This team will be in the hunt to win the East by the time October rolls around.

That is exactly what I am thinking. The Jays did lose last night to the Rays, thus dropping them back in to last place. That isnt saying much because the gap between 1st and last is only 5.5 games...one thing is safe to say, nobody is out of the race in the AL East.

I think the Jays have the strongest roster. There is talent on the other teams but I nobody really jumps out at me like the Jays. I'd be genuinely surprised if they aren't at least a wild card team.

I would definitely have to agree with that...before the season, I said the Jays were the best team, ON PAPER, in baseball. Now it is at the point to where things just have to show up on the field...that can happen and I think by the end of the year, it will happen

I think if the Marlins didn't blow up their team they could have been good. Some teams just need a little longer to come together. That team wasn't given a chance. Jays reaped the benefits.

bingo...it helped the Jays because the Marlins have an insane owner. Freaked out and blew the team up!
