BP has been doing well at the number four spot so I'd be hard pressed to bat Ludwick cleanup. So, I just want to know where other people thought he should bat.

I'd put Ludick at #4 in a heartbeat...that would free up BP so we could move him back up to #2...my line up would be as follows:
Choo BP Votto Ludwick Bruce Frazier Cozart Hanigan Pitcher

I like BP in the two spot, but would prefer Giancarlo Stanton in the 4 spot...

I would definitely love to have Stanton in the 4 spot...he would absolutely rake in GABP...who would you toss in the trade with Miami? Would you toss in Arroyo, knowing he won't be a Red next season? Jocketty has some big decisions to make coming up!

Right now I don't think we could afford to give up a starting pitcher with Cueto down again. Cingrani needs more time to develop because the scouting report is catching up to him and Villareal just got blasted in his first start.

Well I can say that Villareal will most likely never see time with the Reds again. The poor guy was getting rocked in AAA...even in September when the rosters expand, you won't be seeing Mr. Villareal...

Something interesting I heard on the radio this morning...they were talking about a recent Sports Illustrated article that discussed moving your one of your best hitters to the #2 spot in the lineup. I believe this article was basically talking about Joey Votto moving to the #2 spot. Would you do that? That would get Cozart out of that spot. You could move BP to 3 and Bruce to 4. That would force pitchers to pitch to Choo and thus squeeze more AB out of Votto...interesting idea...I am not all for that though. I'd keep it as is, however, I would look to get Cozart out of the 2 spot.

The reds have a great young pitching staff. Another luxury is having a deep pitching prospects base. Miami would want prospects, Reds have them. Send corcino and either traveiso or lotzkar of your top pitching prospects, you keep your top two pitching prospects in Cingrani and Stephenson, with billy Hamilton and you get Stanton and make yourself an even bigger favorite than before.

Very well said...I totally agree with that. I am fine with Corcino and either one of the other two. I mentioned Bronson because knowing he wont be a Red next season, would you toss him in that trade as well or would you keep him up here for the veteran leadership as we make a solid playoff push?

I think you need his leadship this year. Besides Leake (who is a guy that doesn't throw hard but doesn't really throw junk) he brings that other dimension to our pitching staff. We got Cueto, Latos, and Bailey that throw pretty hard... It is nice to have those rainbow curves and offspeed stuff to get the hitters off balance. Besides he is a fan favorite and I'd hate to send him to the Marlins when we make a playoff push. He has meant so much to the Reds the last few years... I don't want to dick him that bad. I know I know. Baseball is a business... Oh well.

Not only that, but the Marlins are cheap and the reds would have to eat the majority of the contract so there isn't any need to move him when he can help you.

I def agree with that...no way the Reds will eat most of that contract
